Description:
The Systems Engineer’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Systems Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
Responsibilities:
• Offering 3rd line support - Investigating and fixing problems escalated from 2nd line support
• Debugging and fixing problems with wide-area and local-area business networks
• Discussing problem resolution with client and internal managers
• Analyzing and making changes to infrastructure to improve performance
• Involvement in architecture and project definition
• Assist in the investigation of operations and security incidents
• Installation and configuration (including travel to other countries)
• On-call support
• Attending problem meetings with clients and internal managers
• Capacity management
• Monitoring and performance improvements
• Analyze client business needs and recommend innovative solutions that leverage technology to provide better application performance and cost reductions.
• Maintaining and improving support information and documentation
• Training junior technical staff

• Considerable knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2008/2012
• Developed knowledge of scripting languages;
