The function
In this role you will work together with our other software engineers to develop and maintain software. Here you are involved in all phases of software development from the early beginning up to supporting our users.
You will report to the Project Manager.
The location
The location can be mutually agreed.
• Based in Waalwijk region, near Eindhoven in The Netherlands.
• Based in Cluj- Napoca region, Romania.
• There is a good flight connection between Cluj- Napoca and Eindhoven.
The work
As a Software Engineer you will work on the maintenance and further development of existing software and the development of new software.
You are also the contact for colleagues and customers when they have questions about our software. It is about a full time job of 40 hours per week.
The employer develops two particular kinds of software:
- Software for control of our high-tech automation solutions.
- Work process supporting software for our customers.
The profile
The employer is looking for motivated colleagues who have a completed Master or Bachelor degree in the direction of Software Engineering. You have a practical attitude, a well-developed abstract thinking level and able to work alone as well as in a team.
Further, you have demonstrable knowledge of:
• Software development.
• Object oriented development.
• C#.
• Databases (SQL).
• English spoken and written.
Knowledge and experience of the following technologies is a plus
• C ++
• Visual Basic 6
• Web Applications (ASP.NET)
• Industrial automation
• Serial communication
Experience
Minimal 5 years relevant experience.
