Senior Mechanical Engineers – New Caledonia
The client is looking for EPCM project personnel for a major nickel mine expansion in New Caledonia.
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Design Engineers, Mechanical Project Engineers and Mechanical Site Engineers with recent and proven mining projects experience.
You must be fluent in French as it is a French speaking site, with all drawings and designs in French.
Key criteria
·15 years upwards of experience
·Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
·Fluent in French
·Significant experience within mining projects (preferably nickel, iron ore, copper)
·Design and Project Engineering experience an advantage
·Experience with improvement, upgrades and maintenance projects
There are good camp facilities and the option of FIFO or residentially based positions with both single stay and family accommodation available.
Contracts or salary positions will be issued for 6 – 12 months.
