Our client is an international, integrated oil and gas company that is active in the Upstream and Downstream business. With a workforce of over 24,000 employees, our client is one of Europe’s largest listed industrial companies. Due to their international activities in up and downstream we are looking to place a Development Manager (m/f) whom will be based in Stavanger, Norway.
Your responsibilities:
Appropriate management and technical delivery of Wisting Opportunity Maturation up to Tollgate 2 Accountable for project delivery to the Project Owner
Fully accountable for the technical definition of the opportunity and delivery of the Field Development Plan Responsible for optimization of the lifecycle value
Represent the technical aspects towards internal assurance and decision gates, but also in external meetings, such as joint venture partners, governmental authorities
Support of the project beyond Tollgate 2
Manage an integrated technical team of various expertise and skill sets
Align the key technical stakeholders to progress project through OMPD and Hydrocarbon Development process Conduct development project relevant events such as opportunity framing, IGR leadership, etc.
Promote the HSSE vision, policies and the associated management system
Your profile:
Master/Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Geosiences or similar with at least 15 years of relevant professional experience
Solid experience in integrated project work and leading multidisciplinary teams
Profound material subsurface knowledge and background (shallow reservoir experience) Substantial offshore experience including Well Engineering, SURF, Facilities (Barents Sea) Experience in working in an international business environment
Fluent command of English HSSE leadership skills
