Our Health Care Assistants (HCA) are working in domiciliary care. Though, HCAs tend to have long hours (6am-10pm), so we often see an average of 60 hours per week. We can offer accommodation and our carers are provided with company cars and fuel cards to enable them to do their job.

1 Assisting with personal care, including skin care, bathing, shaving, oral care, toileting (including management of bowels and bladder and use of commode), dressing and undressing and putting to bed if required.
2 Enabling mobility including Moving & Handling transfers, pushing wheelchair, and use of equipment such as checking of wheelchair seat cushion, hoists and service user's vehicle.
3 Dietetics including assistance with menu planning, preparing, serving and storing of foods.
4 Assistance with eating.
5 Assist service user to fulfil activities of daily living e.g. work, leisure and education.
6 Assist with medication as prescribed by the medical team.
7 Accurately complete Medication Adminstration Charts (MAR Charts), Fluid & Nutrition Charts, Incontinence Charts and Activity Logs and any other monitoring reports in accordance with policies and procedures and agreed care plans.
6 Dealing with correspondence and financial matters as requested.
7 Day-to-day household tasks e.g. changing beds, laundry, ironing and shopping.
8 Provide support and encouragement to empower the client to lead an independent lifestyle.
9 Provide companionship and conversation.
10 Accompaniment to apppointments and liasing with family and friends on their behalf.
