- Knowledge of the structure and use of the most common international material standards (ASTM,
EN,ASME), corrosion control standards and practices (NACE, ISO, API), ability to analyze local
standards and identifying related issues;
- Knowledge of metallurgical properties of the most common materials of construction used for
piping and equipment in Oil and Gas, refinery, urea, ammonia plants, including heat treatments
in production and fabrication, high temperature resistance and corrosion, welding characteristics.
- Minimum 5 years in similar position;
- Bachelor degree in Chemical or Materials/Corrosion Engineering;
- English – medium level, Italian is a plus;
- Microsoft Office;
- Knowledge of the main metallic and non-metallic materials and their fields of applicability in
relation to the material selection for Oil and Gas, refinery and chemical (urea, ammonia and hydrogen)
plants;
- Knowledge of material degradation and corrosion mechanism in severe and non-severe services,
corrosion rate calculation and evaluation, internal and external (environmental) corrosion
issues;
