HGV/LGV mechanics - Ireland
The role:
The role involves working as part of a team and using experience and knowledge to carry out repairs on a large range of commercial vehicles
• Work in a workshop and at the roadside
• Carry out scheduled servicing and unscheduled repairs to a high standard
• Ensure high levels of quality and performance
• Attend internal and external training
• Work within standard repair times
• Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
The Packages:
These vary depending on experience from €36,500 to £40,000 .40 hour working week plus overtime paid at time and a half
You should be:
• Self motivated and enthusiastic with a high attention to detail
• Suitably qualified in light and or heavy commercial vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Have experience of a busy workshop
• Be safety aware and committed to a right first time ethos
• Work on own initiative with a flexible approach
