The web developer will have the ability to hand code landing pages(with forms) and emails and incorporate robust HTML & CSS skills, while maintaining the requested functionality using Javascript (Mootools/jQuery libraries used). The developer must also be able to work from Photoshop layered documents to create HTML files and email newsletters according to HTML email building standards.
One of the common activities will include taking PSD files, and MsWord copy docs and creating HTML files with cropped, 'saved for web' images, ensuring that the built files validate according to our in-house rules [document to follow].
The key skill that we are looking for is the ability to multi-task different platform projects and adapt to existing standards, as well as offering to improve them. (see below Useful to have/advantage)
Programming & creative skills are considered a big plus, as we’ll need the developer to participate in new projects planning, brainstorming and creation of new processes using the latest technology available on the web.
