RESPONSABILITATI

Role, Purpose, and Scope:

To provide commercial support, visibility and consistency across our Shared Delivery Centres (2 shared service platforms based in UK with circa 20 UK sector accounts running through and an overall budget of circa $10m pa)
• Maintain standard costs model and internal recharge model for SDC to 6x UK Sectors
• To build and maintain commercial models to measure and report profitability against budgeted plan
• Work with Sector CM in assessing deals from a profitability and outlooking perspective
• To support the Commercial Manager aligned to the Client Contracts with the information they require to manage each Client
• Optimise SDC performance
• To attend Client Calls where necessary to support client understanding of the numbers
• Supports his/her manager in delivering their responsibilities and liaises with internal cross functional teams.
• Provide Commercial and costing support information to UK Sector CM’s and other Sector managers in relation to SDC.

Major Responsibilities:

To support the Sector Commercial Manager and SDC Service Delivery Manager in the provision of contract reporting, internal recharges and analysis. Including:
• Analyse financial numbers as they come in over the month end close in conjunction with aligned Commercial Executive
• Challenge missing or inaccurate financial data
• Ensure discrepancies or issues are resolved with relevant Xerox groups
• Interface with Finance, including development of accruals and deferrals
• Monitor P&L performance against business case expectations
• Report month end numbers for all SDC Regional Accounts via Sector Commercial Managers
• Provide Outlooks for the SDC Contracts for next month, quarter and full year
• SDC Red Site (loss making contract) reporting and analysis and working a recovery plan with SDC Service Delivery Manager and UK Sector Client teams
• To build and maintain financial models that track actual profit performance against budgeted standard costs.
• Build and maintain a pricing model in relation to the costing model.
• Support the SDC and Sector in deal pursuit ensuring business case propositions are accurate and reflect what we believe will be the actual profitability of a new contract
• Support SDC Delivery Lead in making commercial decisions on pricing, strategy and investment in the operation
• To suggest improvements around cost allocations to ensure we maximize benefit for Xerox and our clients
• To support the Client Facing Commercial Manager with the MI and analysis that they require
• To support Client Meetings (by phone) where requested by the Client Facing Commercial Manager
• Production and analysis of MI to UK Sectors and UK overall team in relation to SDC.
• Production and analysis of other MI as required by the business
• Support one-off projects as required by the business.


CERINTE

Independent contributor with no people management responsibilities. The candidate is expected to be a senior professional that is able to lead virtual teams and communicate across multiple business units. The candidate will need to be an effective Management Accountant to the SDC business.

Background, skills, experience and qualifications:

• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
• A knowledge of general accounting practice
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP systems preferred
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Good verbal and written communication skills – including English to a fluent level
• Able to communicate effectively with Customers in English
• Ability to work across a variety of departments and functions to achieve objectives
• Ability to travel
• Process Improvement

Important:
• An understanding of financial systems e.g. SAP
• Basic understanding of business processes

Role specific competencies and requirements:

Microsoft Tool suite – Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook
Xerox specific tool suite such as Mercury billing will be provided as part of knowledge transfer
Financial modelling
Finance experience is a plus
