The role: Project Coordinator
Job purpose and objectives
• Assisting in the oversight and co-ordination of Business Unit’s projects. These projects include client and internal work. They involve working locally and globally with project teams and will encompass:
• Total Reward system development and deployments for clients
• HR consulting and change management assignments for clients
• Internal product development and marketing initiatives


The role holder will ensure that projects are closed effectively and where appropriate, subsequently viewed, and the lessons learned are captured, documented and actioned.

Specific duties include:
• Working closely with client engagement managers to ensure MS project plans are developed and maintained
• Monitoring progress against project plans and produce status reports
• Projecting, monitoring and reporting resource allocations and needs
• Liaising with internal work stream leads/co-ordinators on a daily basis to monitor status, risks and issues
• Maintaining risks, issues, actions, dependency (RAID) logs and escalating where appropriate
• Leading internal and external status meetings, producing minutes and ensure actions are carried out
• Gathering and monitoring financial data to track performance against project budgets
• Develop, document, communicate and monitor formal processes (using MS Visio)
• Manage SharePoint environments for each project and ensure that all documentation is uploaded and maintained in in a timely manner


Other general responsibilities include:
• Peer reviewing and ensuring own work is peer reviewed as appropriate
• Maintaining accurate time recording and charging to clients where applicable
• Staying abreast with applicable regulatory bodies
• Adhering to Corporate Policies and Procedures (CCPs)
• Reporting any suspected breaches to management/compliance department upon discovery
• Assist in the production of company policies and procedures

Experience


• Exposure to large-scale programmes with multiple projects and stakeholders
• Some knowledge of business systems and technology development programmes
• Preferably experienced in multinational projects
• MS Project software – average to high
• MS Excel software – average
• MS Visio – average
• Exposure to general Project Methodologies


Skills and competencies
• Proactive and self-starting, capable of acting on own initiative
• Strong and confident communicator
• Highly organised and able to multi-task on several work streams
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• High attention to detail
• Computer literate
