One of Australia’s most innovative online marketing agencies is looking for an experienced Web Front End Developer (HTML/CSS) to join our team.
You will need to be an expert in HTML/CSS with a strong understanding of website usability, interaction design and social connect techniques.
You will be working closely with designers, marketers, copywriters and other developers to develop and launch a high number of projects at any one time.
• Creates cross browser, standards compliant HTML and CSS code
• Manages the implementation of designs and copy provided in a timely manner
• Ensures that the content is well accessible and logically structured; recommends improvements if necessary
• Builds websites using technologies that conform to international standards and makes sure that they are universally accessible
• Performs maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested
• Makes use of Javascript / Ajax / jQuery coding to enrich the existing web pages / web apps
• Proposes improvements for the internal systems & technologies to support a continuous evolution
• Contributes to the overall development and success of the Web team
What You’ll Need
• Minimum experience of two years in producing table-less, standards-compliant cross browser HTML code is required
• HTML / CSS experience required
• Good English skills are required
• Good understanding of web concepts and technologies are mandatory
• Java Script knowledge is required, including jQuery, AJAX, JSON
• Experience with web content management tools is required
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to prioritize daily work efficiently
• Good multi-tasking abilities
• Good communication skills
• Strong initiative
• Analytical thinking
• Background in programming or computer science is preferred
