Role Purpose and Scope
The Project Coordinator works with Site leader and GBSC PMO to facilitate the initiation, implementation and transition of Xerox projects. Responsible for coordination of the key support functions (Recruiting, HR, IT, Finance, Facilities) and business teams ensuring the successful transition of project teams. Project Coordinator is capable of managing complex office environments, business processes, and providing business solutions.

Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for new projects or roles being transitioned or added to the center
- Acts as the main focal point for the business leaders during the transition phase of the project.
- Develop and Manage the Project plan along with milestones and deliverables
- Facilitate meetings between the support teams and the business team
- Track and manage actions during the project transition
- Gather all the requirements from the Business teams; including equipment requirements, resources scale, time zone support, shift coverage, applications to be utilized, telecom requirements, timelines, etc.
- Support the knowledge transfer process; manage the logistics for the training, ensure all the training material is available, ensure the technology required is ready, support any travel needs.
- Conduct a lesson learned session upon Go Live to ensure continuous improvement of the process
- Work with other site project coordinators to Identify best practices or challenges to reduces the learning cycle for each project.
- Facilitate Team meetings with each project team; identify and track actions and next steps
- Responsible for problem resolution and tracking for each project
- Provides additional support during the steady state phase of the project to the Site leader/Director as needed to support the business needs.
- Provide support during the onboarding process: ensure all desks have name tags, office supplies, PCs, phones, chairs, keys to the desks, monitors, keyboards and mouse, Cell phones.
- Submit the capex for equipment purchases; including PCs, phones, monitors, software.
- Order phone extensions for new users.
- Responsible for the facilitation and management of the IT configuration and set-up between the business team and the IT Team.
- Support all the necessary reporting to the business teams; project status reports, recruiting status and issue resolution.
- Responsible for risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle

Education and Background
- In depth understanding of Microsoft Project
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
