The role: Financial Reporting Manager

Independent contributor with no people management responsibilities.
• Report the profitability of the XPS Business – circa 200 accounts (Basic Xerox Managed Print Services Offering)
• Analyse and report on non-profitable accounts
• Help ensure that accounts and forecasts are accurate
• Optimize XPS commercial performance
• Check and approve new XPS contracts and existing contract modifications
• Review and approve any credit requests for XPS Contracts
Supports his/her manager in delivering their responsibilities and liaises with internal cross functional teams.

To support the Commercial Manager and XPS Service Delivery Manager in the provision of contract reporting and analysis. Including:
• Analyse financial numbers as they come in over the month end close
• Challenge missing or inaccurate financial data
• Report discrepancies or issues back to finance
• Interface with Finance, including development of accruals and deferrals
• Monitor P&L performance against business case expectations
• Report month end numbers for all XPS Regional Accounts
• Provide Outlooks for the XPS Contracts for next month, quarter and full year
• Conduct contract and finance system reconciliation – including leasing costs
• Production and analysis of MI
• XPS Contract / Modification sign-off
• XPS Credit approval sign off
• XPS Red Site (loss making contract) reporting and analysis and working a recovery plan with XPS Service Delivery Manager
• Support Value Plus (Non contracted revenue) sales and reporting in XPS Accounts
• Support one-off projects as required by the business.

Qualifications and experience

• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
• A knowledge of general accounting practice
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP systems preferred
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work across a variety of departments and functions to achieve objectives
• Full driving license and ability to travel
• Process Improvement

Role specific competencies and requirements

- Microsoft Tool suite – Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook
- Xerox specific tool suite such as Mercury billing will be provided as part of knowledge transfer
- Financial modelling
- Finance experience is a plus

Important:
• An understanding of financial systems e.g. SAP
• Basic understanding of business processes
