As a Configuration and Release Engineer you will be responsible for:
• Compiling, packaging and deploying of company’s software applications;
• Maintenance and improvement of applications and scripts used for the above;
• Maintenance and development of application’s installers;
• Handling the software versions and changes across multiple releases and multiple customers;
• Work with the development and infrastructure teams to resolve build and release issues and communicate status/solutions to appropriate stakeholders;
• Administration and internal support for version control system and change management application;
• Identify problems and provide solutions to a variety of CM technical problems.
Job requirements:
• Computer science or Informatics degree;
• Experience in one or more of the following: Java, C, Delphi, Perl;
• Experience in: Version control systems (e.g. SVN);
• Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: Maven, Install Shield, Ant;
• Experience creating installation packages for Windows and Linux is a plus;
• Great attention to detail and understanding of software processes;
• Experience working independently while able to support team goals and communicate program activities;
• Works flexible hours to avoid impact to production systems;
• Good command of English.
