We are looking for intelligent people, who have previously worked in technical roles within an IT-focussed company, with multiple offices and a business-critical international network infrastructure.
Your main activity will be to assist the Change and Configuration Manager in delivering all changes/releases to Live systems or environments. You will show a high degree of customer service focus, and adhere to all service management processes and principles, in particular ITIL guidelines and methodologies.
Ideally you will have experience working in configuration management roles, but training will be given. A benefit will be to have skills and knowledge in setting up and maintaining continuous integration environments and ideally you will have exposure in applying ITIL practices
Mandatory skills
• Experience within an IT Service Delivery function, focused on Change, Configuration and Problem management.
• Subversion, TFS, Maven, Cruise Control, Jenkins/Hudson, Ant, Perl.
• Good integration knowledge of different tools and inter-operability between OS.
• Proficient in English.
• Basic Scripting knowledge.
Desirable skills
• HP Quality Center, XML, Remedy
• Experience with Tomcat Application Server; Windows Services; IIS.
• Multi Operating System knowledge.
• Exposure to ITIL best practice.
• Java basics
• .Net basics
