RESPONSABILITATI

Prepares or supervises preparation of numerous weekly and monthly reports for AR Aging, AR Collections, Foreign Tax Roll-forward, Non-Functional Currency Obligations, Intercompany Revenue, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, and Others.
Assists in the month-end closing and financial reporting processes. Ensure financial statements are prepared accurately and timely.
Ensures compliance with internal control requirements.
Works independently on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
Resolves and reviews issues affecting Company compliance, legal requirements and company objectives.
Supports internal and external audits. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
Coordinates with European Accounting to resolve issues and develop process improvements.
Prepares and approves journals entries in accounting system.
Possesses good interpersonal skills, demonstrated via phone, email and personal communications. Able to keep management informed on important matters at the right place and time.
Possesses the ability to meet tight deadlines, work around problems and make decisions.
Is self-motivated, can identify areas that need improvement and make the changes necessary to implement them. Great at following up on action items. Ability to stay on course with multiple projects at the same time. Is organized and a quick learner. Shares information and technical ideas with other accounting team members.


CERINTE

Seven years accounting work experience with increasing responsibility [supervisory experience a plus]. At least three years with a multinational organization in an accounting position.
Excellent skills in Excel (knowledge of Visual Basic for Microsoft a big plus). Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Some experience with a multicurrency accounting system.
University Degree in Accounting, Certified Accountant (experience may be substituted for certification).
