RESPONSABILITATI

Commission Accounting

Responsible for the bespoke UK commission accounting and revenue recognition system
Responsible for the production of UK regulatory returns for two FSA regulated companies including detailed back up schedules
Liaising with Consulting and Administration staff to update commission revenue system
Reviewing and documenting system to enhance reporting and controls
Ensuring on-going FSA record keeping compliance
Responsible for monitoring and control of commission debtors.



H&W Revenue System



* Reviewing and documenting system in conjunction with on-going IT development in this area

* Responsible for Finance input to development project

* Assessment of need and ability to more fully integrate with Time Recording and Billing system

* Working on ad hoc projects to keep in line with the company / business changes.



Management Accounting

* Responsible for revenue estimation modelling focusing on the non time based revenue streams

* Reviewing current processes with other team members to enhance control and improve reporting

* Back up responsibility for month end close of the Buck revenue systems – time and non-time based

* Assisting in provision of detailed analyses to Board level staff with commentary on variances against plan and prior periods

* Assisting in provision of information for external and internal Auditors.

* Ensuring adherence to and updating of Sarbanes Oxley Regulations



Time Recording & Billing - CMS Open



* Responsible for review and operation of existing Time Recording and Billing system

* Reviewing invoice process to assess and enhance effective use of the system by Finance and Business users

* Responsible for all invoicing write offs, deferrals and credit notes

* Liaising with all levels of staff and account managers providing revenue breakdowns

* Running and distributing Client Account Reports

* Providing billing support for larger client accounts

* Monitoring of the CMS Open Helpdesk

* Managing the billing cycle throughout the Finance calendar month

* Signing off system data integrity checks / tasks

* Providing support to the Sales Ledger Manager

General - Providing accurate and appropriate management information to Senior Management. Comply with all Corporate Policies & Procedures (CPPs).

Compliance - Be aware of current regulatory and legal obligations of the function. Report any suspected breaches to the Compliance Department immediately on discovery.
