RESPONSABILITATI

Project Owner: Manages and Controls all phases of the IT project in all critical areas
Works on-site at customer location as head of the project; this also includes technical solution responsibilities, local team coordination – and coordination with the near-shore iQuest development and testing team in Romania
Collaborates closely with the iQuest Microsoft Solutions Practice Leadership Team
Plans and orchestrates the entire software development lifecycle, including software testing, rollout and maintenance if needed
Establishes, builds and manages relationships within the customer organisation on a project organisation level and collaborates with the account team to successfully develop and grow the customer account
Owns customer project meetings (preparation, lead and follow-up activities) like Jour Fixe meetings and customer workshops


CERINTE

The ideal candidate must have successfully completed a University degree in Computer Science, natural science or any other comparable education and can offer multiple years of experience in the following areas:

Proven experience required in order to successfully lead and supervise geographically distributed project teams and manage IT projects
Excellent Project Management skills, i.e. project estimation and planning, communication, stakeholder management, risk management, analysis and decision making as well as budget and control
Good knowledge of all disciplines involved in the software development process (Project Management, Analysis and Design, Implementation, Requirements Management, Testing, Configuration and Change Management, Deployment, Rollout, Maintenance)
Experienced with project management tools and the complete Microsoft Office 2010 Suite
Experienced with agile software development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM) as well as plan-driven delivery methodologies (e.g. Unified Process or Waterfall)
Has a distinct service and customer orientation and knows how to communicate and convince at different levels externally as well as internally

Anticipates customer needs and reacts proactively
Team player with passion – understands and respects personal & cultural differences
Able to cope with business and organisational complexities
Very good communication and presentation skills in written and oral format
Shows 100% commitment, is success-oriented, determined and pragmatic
Languages: fluency in German and very good English (written and oral) skills
Is flexible and mobile with willingness to travel and work at client locations (including home office)
Ability to cope with stress and high pressure
