The community Mittelsinn has about 850 and Obersinn about 1.000 citizens. Geographically, the communities are located between two natural parks “Spessart” and “Rhön” in Main-Spessart county in Lower Franconia (Unterfranken). Both communities are part of an association of administration with 6.300 citizens.
The so-called Project “Integrierte ländliche Entwicklung” (integrated development of the countryside) of the Bavarian ministry for food, agriculture and forest opened the catchment area to 8.300 citizens.
