On behalf of our client, an agribusiness company, we are looking for an Agro Engineer.
The job location is Focsani.
-Planning, executing and controlling all day to day crop production activities, such as seeding, fertilizing, spraying and harvesting;
-Providing clear instructions to subordinates and coordinating their scheduling on a daily basis;
-Overseeing and assisting subordinates with all day to day crop production activities;
-Managing and operating modern agricultural machineries to ensure they are running around the clock;
-Directing and overseeing the repair and maintenance of equipment and machineries to ensure proper functioning;
-Efficiently monitoring inventory (e.g. spare parts, seeds, fertilizers, fuel, tools etc) on a continuous basis to ensure smooth operations and avoid shortages;
-Planning, in cooperation with superiors, crops activities based on factors such as crop maturity and weather conditions;
-Identifying and solving operational problems, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, whenever necessary;
-Fluency in English language (written and spoken);
-Crops production experience, obtained in Romania or abroad;
-Good skills in operating and repairing various types of agricultural equipment and modern computer assisted machineries;
-Willingness to take a ‘hands on’ approach and spend considerable time on the fields;
-Ability to work in a fast paced working environment with variable working hours, especially during season;
-Good communicator, adaptable and flexible individual, with organizational and problem solving skills;
-Good computer skills: Windows, MS Office; basic data entry skills are necessary;
