• The Successful candidate must be experienced in directing, coordinating and controlling the activities assigned to contractors, direct hired & UAE national personnel, to ensure all rigging, lifting operations and transportation required for the Plant and associated facilities are performed safely, according to prescribed standards of quality and at the most economic cost.
• Coordinate the daily running of rigging work through the rigging Term Contract and direct hired Foreman. Includes planning and scheduling routine work, responding to emergency work in conjunction with Planning Engineer.
• Holding a minimum academic of high level Diploma certificate in civil, construction or lifting industry or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years experience in rigging, lifting and transporting in the oil and refining or petrochemical industry including at least 3 years supervisory experience or higher position.
• Good written and spoken English. Ability to write technical reports with minimum guidance.
• Good IT skills using technical lifting software.
• Good capability of reading & understanding technical drawings and reports.
• This is a rotational 75/15 days position, also payed at home. The working day on site is 8 hrs per day.
• This is a Camp environment so all accommodation/food etc provided (or a per diem is paid)
• Travel to/from project provided. Market rates apply.
