RESPONSABILITATI

Principal Functions:
• Manages and directs the efficient Operation of work requirements to ensure the state-of-the art Operations and Maintenance tasks handling, upgrading, development & configuration of VoIP Control Systems and Techniques.
• Leads and directs the Operation team, prioritization and assignment of objectives and tasks to IP Traffic Control function.
• Reviews allocation/utilization of resources and performance quality.
Duties & Responsibilities :
1. Maintain overall performance of assigned network & its services and ensure all KPI/SLA are per the standard.
2. Oversees operation, prioritization and assignments of objectives, cases and tasks to IPTC-VoIP team including any Vendor’s resident staff
3. Develop overall objectives and roadmaps of IPTC-VoIP based on operational needs and planning inputs.
4. Monitor the network for capacity requirement and need for expansion to meet high demand in bandwidth
5. Carryout comprehensive operations support such as provisioning, fault monitoring, VoIP management & Traffic Management, Design/develop & enhance VoIP management & Traffic Management techniques, etc., for VoIP management Services
6. Supervise major troubleshooting and fault handling activities and report statues of Network quality
7. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the VoIP utilization, trend analysis and usage.
8. Manages and maintains productive relationships with suppliers/manufacturers/ contractors/ consultants etc. to ensure prompt, cost-effective technical support
9. Interface with different internal sections and outside entities to discuss and sync internet and VOIP policies and guidelines
10. Keep the network updated with latest development in software and security to maintain healthy network
11. Review and monitor the progress of project execution in network in quality and timely manner
12. Meet and review with the vendors hardware and software performance in the network and develop plan to address issues
13. Prepares annual budget for the IP traffic control section and takes corrective action in case of variance.
14. Provides coaching, professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions
15. Maintain regular high-level meetings with competitor telecom providers in the country to synchronise and review the traffic management policies to be aligned with TRA requirements and with internal interests.
16. Performs any other related duties, as required.


CERINTE

Knowledge, Experience & Competencies

- Formal Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Telecommunications/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent

- Related Professional Training, Certification or Membership: Mandatory Design and development of Traffic Management using DPI

Years & Field of Experience required:
1. 10+ years in a leading related role overseeing operations and maintenance of fixed, and data networks and deployment of state-of-the art technologies in a large Telecommunications organization
2. 5+ years of experience managing DPI and manpower related to DPI
