Our client is one of the leading companies in the Telecommunications sector in Switzerland, and is currently looking for an a passionate software architect, with a visionary and an innovative spirit, which evaluating cutting-edge technologies as well as their potential application, to work in its offices in Berne.
Your responsibility:
You will manage the E2E software development life cycle – from functional and technical specifications to software development. You will assume a technical but also a methodological and governance role by providing standards and guidelines. While contributing to the development of new products and services, you will find ways to implement the latest technologies. You think like a software evangelist and thereby decide how to design new architectures and recognize the impact of complex technological synergies on the product and software architecture landscape.
A proven track record in R&D and innovation units
In-depth knowledge of software development (Java and/or other technologies linked with Cloud/SaaS solutions in a complex environment)
Experience with complete software life cycle developments and software product development
Excellent knowledge in developing mobile applications
Affinity for the newest technologies and trends regarding mobile applications, cloud and SaaS
Skilled at dealing with highly qualified engineers
