Fully responsible for Looms settings according to the given cards from Design department according to fabric specification and operations instructions;
Fully responsible for repairing any yarns cut in warp or weft and make sure that the repair is performed in a very short time to avoid any heavy picks;
Monitor all devices of the looms and insure they are functioning properly;
Monitor loom speed to insure the highest efficiency;
Monitor very carefully the Fabrics quality especially at the start-up and make sure it is free from any defects;
Stop the loom immediately if noticed any defect and inform the section head and the weaving manager for prompt support for problem resolution;
Inform the Section Head and the Weaving Manager for any mechanical or Electrical male-function and follow up to insure prompt repair from Electrician and or Maintenance Mechanics;
Identify and write piece number at the start of the piece, and write the piece number and article code indicating length in meters at the end of each piece;
Insure that all assigned looms are fully utilized;
Coordinate with weaving Quality inspectors/central laboratory for monitoring the testing results of Articles under weaving and take immediate corrective action if found any defect;
Coordinate with maintenance department to make sure that all Routine and preventive maintenance is in place and carried out according to maintenance schedules;
Housekeeping and cleanliness of looms and working area.
Technical Degree in Weaving is preferable
3-5 years of experience in worsted wool/wool blends Fabrics Weaving;
Intermediate knowledge of English – written and verbal;
Great communication skills;
Problem solving skills;
Team player;
Ability to work under pressure.
