Fully responsible to provide technical support to all weavers during Looms operations, for around 60 looms;
Fully responsible for monitoring Looms settings according to the given cards from Design department and according to fabric specification and operations instructions;
Fully responsible for providing immediate support for weavers facing technical problem that they cannot resolve and insure looms back to normal operation;
Monitor with all weavers that all devices of looms are functioning properly;
Monitor looms speed to insure the highest efficiency;
Monitor very carefully the Fabrics quality especially at the start-up and make sure it is free from any defects;
Stop the loom immediately if noticed any defect and repair it and insure problem resolution;
Inform the Section Head and the Weaving Manager for any mechanical or electrical male-function and follow up to insure prompt repair from electrician and/or maintenance mechanics;
Monitor that all weavers are well identified and write piece number at the start of the piece, and write the piece number and article code indicating length in meters at the end of each piece;
Ensure that all assigned looms are fully utilized;
Monitor all assigned looms productivity during and at the end of the shift and compare it with the standard productivity;
Coordinate with weaving quality inspectors/central laboratory for monitoring the testing results of articles under weaving and take immediate corrective action if found any defect;
Coordinate with maintenance department to make sure that all routine and preventive maintenance for all looms are in place and carried out according to maintenance schedules;
Insure housekeeping and cleanliness of looms and working area;
Insure all health and safety precautions are in place and fully implemented.
Previous experience in Dornier Looms Model PTVS and/or Picanol Model Optimax is mandatory;
3-5 Years Technical University Degree in Weaving;
5 years of experience in fabrics weaving of worsted wool/wool blends yarns;
Intermediate knowledge of English – written and verbal;
Good ability to distinguish between different colors of Yarns;
Great communication skills;
Problem solving skills;
Team player;
Ability to work under pressure.
