Monitor spinning frames operation, the installations of new lots, follow up the immediate repair of any yarn cuts, control yarn quality and avoid any over twisting for yarns;
Identify lot number, composition of blends, yarn count, Roving colors;
Review all spinning frames settings and speed according to Yarns count, twisting and composition;
Adjust immediately any wrong setting and inform section head immediately;
Inform Section Head immediately with any yarns defects or spinning frames failure or spindles breakage or male-function to be repaired urgently;
Before spinning machine completion of its round, monitor the preparation of empty Poppins and prepare roving to be ready for machine feeding;
Insure that all spinning frames are fully utilized according to the required Yarns count and specifications;
Cooperation with other labor staff in un-feeding ready Poppins and in feeding any new lots;
Coordinate with Spinning Quality inspectors for Roving and yarns and take any corrective action for any deviation from agreed upon standards;
Segregate any defected roving or yarns aside in the rejection trolley with visible mark and clear identification;
Coordinate with maintenance department to make sure that all Routine and preventive maintenance is in place and carried out according to maintenance schedules;
Housekeeping and cleanliness of working area and spinning frames and spindles.
3-5 years Technical University Degree in Spinning and Weaving ;
5 years of experience in worsted wool/wool blends spinning and yarns manufacturing;
Intermediate knowledge of English – written and verbal;
Good ability to distinguish between different colors of Dyed Tops and Yarns;
Great communication skills;
Problem solving skills;
Team player;
Ability to work under pressure.
