Senior System Engineer for Backend systems (Copenhagen)

POSITION
Type of contract: Full time Long-termed contract
Working Visa: Required
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working on the server-side design and code for our platforms, systems, and web applications, as
well as internal systems to manage our services
Focus on productivity and delivering results, while ensuring customer satisfaction, performance,
and reliability of our platform
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE (HARD SKILLS)
Expert: Python
Advanced: Erlang, OCaml or other functional programming languages, knowledge of Unix/Linux,
designing and building robust high-volume production web applications, Strong competencies in
data structures, algorithms, and software design
PREFERABLE KNOWLEDGE (HARD SKILLS)
Intermediate: C/C++ and/or Java or other low-level programming language, relational databases,
NoSQL data stores, Amazon Infrastructure services
SOFT SKILLS
Required: BS or MS in Computer Science (or related field), Self starter and quick learner, with a
demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast paced environment with global competition,
Excellent communications skills in English
Not required: PhD in Computer Science (or related field)
