Job description
As a Project Engineer, you are part of a project team led by the Project Manager. You are responsable for the technical development of a project based on the customers needs. You will make mechanical designs with 3D software packages and make sure that your designs will be ready for production. Together with our 3D measurement department, you make sure that the designs can be made according to specificied tolerances. You manage the suppliers of your project and follow up the assembly process of your projects. You report daily to the Project Manager in Belgium.
Your main tasks will be :
Mechanical Design in 3D.
Make your design ready for production (2D Drawings, BOM, etc.).
Supplier Management of your projects.
Coordination of the assembly process of your projects.
Follow up 3D Measurement process of your projects..
Profile
Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
You have good technical and analytical skills.
You are motivated, creative and take initiative.
You have good communication skills and work results-orientated.
You are able to work indepent and in a team and have a hands-on mentality.
Fluent in English, knowledge of the German language is an asset.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
Good CATIA V5-skills, knowledge of other 3D software packages is a must.
Fluent in English Language
Drivers license B.
