Managing business operations in the assigned division to achieve company goals;
Evaluating the division's performance and recommend new strategies for performance improvements;
Developing new business programs to meet productivity and revenue goals;
Planning, organizing and directing the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets;
Minimizing manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital;
Assuring attainment of productions schedules while insuring product standards that will meet customers’ expectations.
Assisting in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, retention and termination-of-contract activities;
Establishing group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on need;
Encouraging use of new techniques and focus on fact based problem solving;
Improving manpower utilization within existing departments and processes. Scheduling stability that allows for maximum return on efficiencies;
Managing spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume;
Assuring that collective bargaining agreements are effectively administered and that employee grievances are addressed in a timely fashion;
Working to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employees’ positive involvement with opportunity for construction input and action;
Continually improving safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes. Maintaining and improving housekeeping( clean and safe ) in all areas;
Maintaining individual skills keeping up to date with latest production and production management concepts;
Being responsible for the overall operations and maintenance of the division.
Business or technical field higher education;
Significant manufacturing knowledge;
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing and 5 years experience in a management position;
Fluent in English;
