As a WordPress / End-to-End Web Applications Developer you will be part of a dynamic team in which your responsibilities include the development of web interfaces along with, when necessary, the server-side logic of applications, with emphasis on the WordPress platform. This implies creating and implementing web applications according to specifications, using (X)HTML, CSS and JavaScript for front-end technologies and PHP and MySQL for back-end technologies.
What will your responsibilities look like?
Developing and maintaining web applications based on WordPress
Developing the web interface and client-side functionality using HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery), possibly for an application developed in a server-side language other than PHP
Developing server-side logic in PHP and MySQL, possibly using a CMS or Framework
Development testing and bug fixing
Collaboration within the team in order to achieve the requirements above
Collaboration with clients and technical support
Requirements and project spec analysis
Writing technical documentation (and specs)
Good knowledge of a CMS (WordPress, Drupal etc.), an e-commerce platform and/or a PHP Framework
Good knowledge of current web development languages (HTML5, CSS3, PHP/MySQL)
Strong knowledge of WordPress:
Knowledge of existing built-in WordPress functions
Creation of plugins and widgets
Creation of custom WordPress Themes
Creation of custom post types

Technical background (software, computers)
Ability to work for short periods of time on projects which are in progress
Good knowledge of web technology standards and specifications; following best practices in the field
Excellent communication skills
What experience do you need?
Experience in working with web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery) and web back-end technologies (PHP, MySQL)
Experience in working on web development projects with practical significance
Experience in working with WordPress Network (Multisite) – is a plus
