This is a full time role in Cluj as part of a newly estbalished RO-UK IT Operations Team. acquiring the In-depth knowledge of applications and deployed technologies will require availability for traveling to London for extended training sessions.
Main responsibilities:
- Major Incident Management: Problem analysis, escalation to senior technical teams, coordination of ongoing communication and progress reporting
- Event Management: coverage of a shifted pattern to continuously monitor, manage and escalate detected events
- Job Scheduling: management and execution of routine, scheduled operational procedures:
- Project Tasks: involvement in technical projects to develop the Operations function
Match your skills
- familiarity with Redhat ant CentOS distributions
- good knowledge of the Linux file system and processes
- strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot incidents in a Linux environment
Desirable skills
- familiarity with Windows Server administration
- Storage array hardware and server connectivity / SAN technology
