Responsibilities:
• Assess and diagnose escalated problems. Root cause analysis;
• Provide quick work around to resolve;
• Identify potential problems through proactive measures and do a Trend analysis of those incidents;
• Hand on experience on Cisco network devices, firewall solution;
• Able to interact with the external client and troubleshoot network connectivity issues;
• Ensure maximum uptime of all servers and systems including the exchange mailing platform;
• Maintenance of more than one segregated windows domain;
• Support full operations from systems perspective by ensuring user management/ email management/ group policies management/ windows scripting/ automation;
• Ensure patch updates/ antivirus updates/ backups are being followed religiously;
• Provide technical solutions as per requirements of clients/customers;
• Work closely with Information Security Group for ensuring all security parameters are in place;
• Should be able to manage team of in sourced/out sourced employees;
• Coordinate with telecom and network service provider on timely execution of various telecom and network projects;
Requirements
• Engineer with certification in Exchange system / windows server architecture / good knowledge of large networks (including configuration/set up of large networks);
• At least 2-5 years in a similar role;
• Exposure to enterprise architecture;
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken);
• Good troubleshooting skills;
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Squid Proxy, ISA, OCS, SCOM;
• User management / email management / group policies management / windows scripting / automation;
• Cisco equipment usage and configuration knowledge;
• Knowledge of protocols EIGRP/BGP/OSPF/RIP, HSRP;
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies (routing, switching, Frame relay, ATM etc);
• Knowledge of firewall solutions (Checkpoint, PIX);
• Knowledge of EMS/NMS solutions (CWM, Concord and Cisco works);
• Good leadership and communication skills;
• Strong customer focus;
• Experience in 24x7 monitoring, fault management functions;
