• Responsible for the monthly accruals and prepayment postings, to review A/P and A/R bookings for compliance with group accounting policies, to analyze and to ensure accuracy and completeness of all postings, to carry out the monthly accounting reconciliations and to investigate all outstanding items and discrepancies
• Responsible for the quarterly commission computation, and consequently to coordinate, communicate and liaise with the sales team
• Prepare, verify and consolidate reports/statements required by the financial and operational management of the Company
• Implement and maintain accounting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
• Participation and consistent contribution during the month-end closing accounting process and support during year-end audit
• Any regular or ad-hoc reporting required by local and/or group managers
• Any other accounting tasks, as resulting from daily or extraordinary course of business
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4 + years' of work experience in financial analysis and/or reporting
• Must have extremely strong MS Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
• Maturity, professionalism and high level of discretion is required
• Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques required
• Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
• The ability to research and propose on the company position in case of complex accounting issues
Skill set (advantages):
• Prior experience in a complex multi-national and multi-cultural environment
• Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership
• ACCA/CIMA qualification or under qualification and/or Big4 audit experience is advantageous
