Role overview

The group is expanding its finance function and wants to add a new role to support its FP&A accountant to assist operational analysis, planning and reporting. The role will be based at Endava’s office in Cluj Napoca. The role requires close collaboration with the FP&A Analyst supporting the monthly reporting cycle as well as project work throughout the financial year.
They will also work with the Shared Service Centre Team based in Romania for a timely month-end close.
The role will closely support the operational side of the business with the company’s internal Project Accounting System. The forecasting from the system is reported from an individual Project level up to the overall Company level.
The role will be interesting and varied; it will require basic accounting work to be processed as well as strategic analysis. The individual will have contact with senior officers at the group’s HQ.
There will be occasional international travel to overseas group locations.

Responsibilities

Monthly
Financial accounting including project journals and business unit journals
Managing project accounting system reconciliations and data imports
Oversee the data integrity and import process for timesheets and expenses
Assist with project resource allocation between delivery units and project teams
Preparation of monthly group P&L preview for circulation to board and group management
Preparation and distribution of monthly activity reports for delivery unit managers

Other
Responsibility for organizing monthly business unit review meetings with top management
Check that project codes are set up correctly to support analysis and reporting
Update the 5 year Business Model
Recoveries/margins by Locations Reporting
Involvement in Yearly Budgets
Training and induction for new project managers
Ad hoc modelling
Involvement in Integration of M&A

CERINTE

Mandatory skills
Knowledge of excel (pivots, VLOOKUP’s, etc)
Knowledge of Spreadsheet modelling
Clear written and communication

Desirable skills
Qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
