For one of our clients, one of the world’s leading biopharmaceutical groups, Adecco Professional & Executive Search Division is currently looking for a Finance Manager who will provide business partnering support to the Site leader and “host” country fiscal accounting and reporting requirements.
Main responsibilities:
Proactive analysis and interpretation of business performance on monthly (Manufacturing Variances) basis.
Proactive preparation of P&L forecasts, operating plans.
Proactive business partnering in decision making, investment analysis, site operating effectiveness, restructuring, ad hoc planning).
Proactive delivery on all business unit & corporate reporting requirements.
Proactive advocate for corporate accounting & compliance responsibilities.
Professional experience:
Qualified accountant with 5+ years post qualification experience in a commercial environment, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance with strong knowledge of SAP and Cost Accounting preferred.
Well-developed knowledge and understanding of the business, its structure and key players
Experience of providing finance support to multiple client groups across many different business functions and geographic locations.
Demonstrated ability to assess the business as a whole and to act in accordance with the best interests of the business. Proven track record of integrity and independence from any one functional group.
Demonstrated ability to influence and operate at a senior level in the organisation. Must be effective at building working relationships outside of Finance – particularly at the leadership team level.
Strong analytical skills – ability to synthesise multiple perspectives and data in order to provide clear recommendations and alternatives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, must be able to present complex financial information in a compelling way to a wide variety of audiences and have experience of and be able to deliver the ‘difficult message’
