Your responsibilities:
• Data specialist for the development of smart factory systems
• Definition of data models, data gather and the retention strategy
• Analysis based on Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM)
• Statistical data analysis
• Advance data analysis with defined data mining methods and algorithms
• Identifying and describing required data sources based on input from analytics specialist and process engineers (business understanding)
• Tool based documentation of data content (data understanding) and modelling approach
• Data quality and development of data quality strategy
• Visualization of data and analytics results
• Transfer of analytics results into business process
Your profile:
• Master in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science or Science with emphasis on data management, software architecture and data analysis
• 1-3 year experience in IT jobs (software development, database administration, data warehousing or similar)
• First experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, No SQL databases) and RDMBS (Oracle, SQL Server, etc)
• Applied knowledge in ETL tooling, software development environments (Eclipse)
• Programming- /Scripting languages : Python, JavaScript, Java
• Operating systems: Windows, Linux
• Initiative and creativity, persuasion and assertiveness
• Self-employed and responsible way of working
• Enjoy working in an international team
• Advanced English (German and other language skills are of advantage)
• Availability for training in Germany for several month
