For one of our clients, global leader in providing rail solutions, with a SSC based in Cluj-Napoca, we are looking for a Team Leader Accounts Payable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Being responsible for the team performing all accounts payable functions through the effective performance of accounts payable transactions processing;
Ensuring all accounts payable transactions are posted correctly;
Identifying, performing and supervising exception processing and inquiries;
Reviewing preparation of payment run, correcting entries;
Establishing and improving Accounts Payable policies and procedures;
Complying with Accounts Payable policies and procedures, period end check-lists of activities to be performed, and with Group policies;
Ensuring integrity and accuracy of transactions processed and posted;
Controlling the numbers of transactions posted and received, preparing and validating automatic G/L postings;
Reviewing and preparing accounts payable reconciliation invoices for suppliers and sub-ledgers;
Justifying accounts payable balance sheet and approving balance sheet accounts reconciliation;
Managing Performance and Teamwork.
Work Experience: 3-4 years of experience in an Accounting department or in banking of which at least 1 year in a coordination role is mandatory;
Familiar with relevant Accounts Payable processes and tax requirements is a plus;
Educational Background: University Degree in Accountancy or Business Administration would be considered an advantage;
Solid Accounting knowledge;
Great people management skills, excellent building relations abilities;
Fluent in English is mandatory;
Experience in SAP or ERP environment;
PC literate (MS-office – Excel).
