RESPONSABILITATI

Summary
The Sourcing & Procurement Specialist is responsible for identifying and screening procurement suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions, driving improved supplier service levels, interfacing with customers, minimizing risk while improving business results, and standardizing procurement best practice processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Leads the procurement function and oversees all aspects of purchasing, negotiations, strategy, and process implementation for procurement related to goods and services.
• Provides leadership and direction to the procurement organization. Manages and develops resources to deliver business partner satisfaction and achievement of overall business and financial objectives
• Builds relationships and negotiates favorable contractual terms and conditions for TMC with suppliers.
• Offers technical guidance and customer service to clients.
• Delivers on cost reduction commitments through the identification, development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Develops and implements efficiencies, standardized tools, practices and procedures shortening the quotation, RFP and decision making and evaluation time
• Leads development and execution of a performance driven supplier management process resulting in structured feedback.


CERINTE

• 4-year degree in business, purchasing, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in procurement, setting procurement strategies, driving cost savings and improving terms and conditions.
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
• Knowledge of environmentally friendly or “Green” material alternatives
• Excellent leadership skills including clearly demonstrated global perspective and understanding of factors impacting businesses and their suppliers.
• Excellent supplier management skills including demonstrated ability to develop and manage business driven supplier executive relationships
• Proven track record of successfully managing risk
• Possess solid computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office)
