SMS Group’s Electrical and Automation Systems Division is looking for persons like you to strengthen the Romanian local team, based in Bucharest.
To ensure rapid commissioning, SMS Group applies its unique Plug & Work process. This involves SMS experts testing and optimizing the entire customer’s automation system using the original control units during a real-time simulation of the production process.
Your responsibilities as part of our international team will include:
- Basic engineering, detail engineering, testing, commissioning of hot and cold rolling mills’ automation systems
- Development of technical solutions for new plants and revamps
- Development and adjustment of software according to customers’ needs
- Worldwide travelling up to 50% of the time to take part in the implementation of our group’s projects, while the rest of the time you will be working from our Bucharest offices.
Once you join our group, you will be enrolled in intensive training on tools, standards, engineering work flow within the group to speed-up your perfect integration in the team and you will continue to benefit of state-of-the-art training and support programs during our entire collaboration.
However, we require our candidates to have:
- Bachelor’s degree of a technical university or in computer science
- a prior proven experience of 3-5 years in the industrial automation
- a good knowledge of PLC programming and visualization software for HMI. It will be a plus if you had knowledge of: ProBAS, Siemens Step 7, Siemens WinCC, Siemens Tia Portal, Wonderware Intouch, advanced language programming
- a good command of English language is required, while any other foreign language (especially German) is an advantage
- computer literacy (comfortable with MS Office)
Apart from that, you should prove: analytical skills, be detail oriented and accurate, have a systematic approach and make robust planning of your work. You should also be team oriented, as well as comfortable with processes within a large, multinational organization.
