- Development and maintenance of the Data Warehouse and all the processes supporting the acquisition of data.
- Consulting on the design and architecture of new Data Warehouse Components/ Data Marts. Each team member is responsible for adhering to corporate standards for all data integration processes.
- Design and Develop Complex ETL Data Loading packages (SSIS)
- Provide Production Support of the Data Warehouse as well as the ETL jobs used to support the Data Warehouse.
- Adhere to ETL/Data Warehouse/Data Mart/MDM development Best Practices
- Provide documentation (Data Mapping, Technical Specifications, Production Support, data dictionaries, test cases, etc.) for all projects
- Expected to be able to quickly learn new languages or technology as needs arise
- Ability to handle multiple projects and manage time efficiently.
- Strong knowledge and capability in Database technology:
- SQL Server (2005/2008/2008R2/2012)
- Database development using T-SQL; complex set-based query development for use in stored procedures and views.
- Database design; logical and physical models, normalized and dimensional models.
- SQL Server Business Intelligence Suite (SSIS/SSAS)
- Understanding Data Modeling is a plus
- Experience in Cube design and development using SSAS is a plus
