PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The service portfolio of the SAP System Landscape Optimization (SLO) group perfectly supports the evolving needs of our customers in a challenging economic environment while minimizing technology driven business disruption.
First services (consistent of tools, program packages and knowledge ware) had been developed with the launch of R/3 in 1992
The Global SLO Hub (together with SLO development) will significantly refine and grow his service portfolio to keep up with increasing demand and to foster its position as the market leader. To facilitate this strategy, the SLO HUB is looking for experienced professionals in all areas of SAP systems with a strong functional & development background.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As an SLO consultant, your job will involve working in a global team focusing on projects in the North America region to realize planned changes in productive SAP applications and system landscapes, and to contribute to service development (Service Productization). The SLO team offers a full solution package encompassing project management, programming and services. Main tasks would be:
- Conduct analyses to scope and plan the required solution approach to support customers
- Provide consulting services: set up and deliver SLO projects, in collaboration with other consulting and development colleagues
- As an architect, scope the solution and construct the individual service offering tailored to a specific customer
- Maintain and contribute to service development (enhance SLO tools & services)
WORK EXPERIENCE
- We are looking for consultants with 1 to 5 years experience in implementing SAP ERP and other solutions, as a functional and ABAP consultant (data migration)
- Fundamental knowledge of, and implementation experience in ERP FI, CO, LO, SD or MM modules
- Experience in ABAP and development activities, and development support during large implementations
- Knowledge and experience in executing data migration and conversion projects, various data migration techniques and approaches
- Experience in BW, CRM, SCM, Industry Solutions
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Experience in international customer projects
- Team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focus
- High drive & self-starter/-motivated
- Working in a international environment
- Willingness to travel
- Business acumen
- Solution design and architecture skills
- Project management skills
- Business development skills - understand customer's pain points and present SLO service portfolio. This requires hands on experience in SLO service delivery/consulting
