About the Team
The Mobile Apps team plays a key role in extending the eMAG marketplace to new platforms and markets. Working alongside eMAG’s quickly moving web team, we are adopting a fast-release process, running A/B tests and prototypes, and seeking ways to improve collaboration with our other product teams.

As a member of eMAG’s Mobile team, you will work with your peers across design, engineering, support, business, operations, data and marketing to ship successful, meaningful products for eMAG’s community.
Responsibilities
As a Product Manager at eMAG, your job is to facilitate the right product getting built by:
Gathering and documenting product requirements, prioritizing features, building consensus and coordinating timelines with a team of engineers and designers;
Helping to shape and maintain the product roadmap for mobile apps;
Building use cases and user stories around a product and communicate them effectively;
Integrating usability studies, user research, market analysis, and community feedback into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs;
Facilitating communication across a number of teams, and sharing plans and decisions;
Defining hypotheses for new features, measuring success against clearly defined goals and metrics;
Iterating on quality assurance and release processes until all pain points fade away.
Doing what it takes to make a launch go well, which involves working with technical operations, product support, product marketing, public relations, and communicating directly with our community.
Have worked in a similar role for at least 3 years;
Have a proven track record with planning, scoping, releasing and maintaining the lifecycle of successful mobile applications (iOS, Android);
Have demonstrated experience building mobile products;
Have a functional understanding of software development—maybe you were an engineer in a previous life;
Have the ability to manage projects across functional teams and technology stacks, including the ability to comprehend issues and articulate solutions that fall outside of the Mobile team;
Have exceptional abilities in writing, speaking, and conveying intentions.
