We are looking for a strong Technical Writer/Project Control Analyst to support end-to-end IT implementation projects.
Responsibilities:
Point of contact to assist, arrange and coordinate telcons, meetings, schedules, personnel rosters, and material printing.
Participate in and support customer meetings.
Write, edit, and perform quality project management and authorization documents.
Review project deliverables for content and consistency, and provide input or commentary on the substance of the work performed, status, issues, etc.
Documentation of customer implementations and contribution in the relevant technical parts to the “as built” document to be handed to customer
Write accurate statements of work for implementation projects with proper understanding of all phases, requirements and objectives.
Education and Experience Required
First level university degree, preferably in computer science, electronics, other technical
Typically 3+ years of experience in IT, preferably in software implementation of enterprise platforms such as ERP, DB, accounting software, etc.
Very good overall knowledge of IT enterprise systems architecture. This should mandatory include knowledge and work experience with high-end storage systems, SAN concepts and architecture, enterprise software systems architecture (common data bases, web services, application messaging, etc.).
Knowledge and Skills Required
Ability to self study, learn, test, and experiment software products implementations and administration
Understanding of the common requirement of business customers and business IT systems
Good understanding of enterprise systems and applications and requirement in relation to them, including UNIX systems overall functioning, UNIX hardware differentiators versus Wintel hardware, UNIX virtualization and partitioning technologies, etc.
Proficiency in using relevant tools to write technical documentation such as Visio, Project, DTP, and similar.
Availability to regularly pursue training programs, exams, certifications.
Previous experience with implementation of HP Software, Vision Solutions/DoubleTake, IBM AIX or mainframe, Linux solutions is a plus
PERFECT ENGLISH WRITING AND SPEAKING IS A MUST. Selected candidates would have to pass a language test! Just "good understanding" of the language is not sufficient nor acceptable!
Any relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince, TOGAF, ITIL, QA, etc. are a definite plus.
