Role
Analyses processes, creates process maps, identifies bottlenecks and comes up with targeted projects using Lean methodology; supports the planning and implementation for proposed projects and acts as a change agent. Creates reports for monitoring the relevant KPIs.
Responsibilities
• Data collection and analysis in order to identify process improvement opportunities;
• Prioritizes projects based on customer experience improvement and benefit : cost ratio;
• Brainstorms and interacts with departments to discuss potential ideas and develop tangible improvement plans;
• Coordinates continuous improvement projects involving Team Leaders and operators;
• Introduces Root Cause Analysis as a standard tool for identifying causes and devising solutions;
• Produces and controls improvement plans with timescales, providing necessary updates through regular reports;
• Creates and implements best practices and standard work routines;
• Supports the development of a culture which promotes daily problem elimination;
• Supports the decision making process through regular KPI reports, weekly and monthly;
• Provides training in Lean Methodology for projects teams;
• Educated to a Degree level;
• Demonstrable knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques;
• Previous exposure to change management processes;
• Strong numerical and analytical skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Facilitation and negotiation skills;
• Previous exposure to WMS.
