Manages Internet, Data and Platform Administration office that carries on administration, operations and maintenance activities for equipments and applications used by Operation and Maintenance Division for the management of the data network and telecommunication network:
- OSSServer (Ericsson Operation and Support System);
- BO Server (Ericsson Business Object);
- RC Server ( Siemens Radio Commander);
- OTS Server (Siemens O&M Tool Set);
- Workstations;
Monitors and secures the access to the equipments and applications administered.
Preserves security of data and configurations by periodical back-ups.
Executes periodic maintenance according to vendor’s specifications.
Maintains the contact with equipments and applications suppliers for reporting and solving the problems occurred at equipments and applications administered, according to support procedures agreed with suppliers and coordinates the technical support given by team members during interventions performed.
Monitors and solves alarms and technical issues when they appear related to the administered systems and applications.
Monitors systems and applications’ performance and acts proactively to ensure their functionality.
Installs new applications and corrections to the existing ones, or gives technical support in cases when these activities are performed by others.
Establishes the right time frames for these activities, follows up and reports effects and results.
Coordinates and participates to activities for analyzing and solving subscribers complaints or other offices or departments complaints related to administered equipments and applications.
Coordinates and participates to solving emergency situations including during night or week-end.
Reports to hierarchical chiefs special events occurred at work.
Elaborates periodical or on-request reports.

University degree in electronics, telecommunication or related fields;
4-5 years of experience on a similar position;
Experience in administrating the data base (Oracle, MySQL, Sybase);
Experience in administrating Unix systems;
Good knowledge of GSM technology;
Good knowledge of English;
Good knowledge of operation systems and following applications: SUN Solaris, Unix, Windows, Ms Office etc;
Knowledge of data base management: Sybase, Oracle, MySQL etc;
Knowledge of data and telecommunications network;
Analytical thinking;
Ability to gather, synthesize and present information;
Written communication skills;
Working in stress conditions;
Meeting dead-lines.
