For our client, a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and services, we are looking for an experienced Planning Core CS Engineer, with knowledge in the IMS domain and willing to boost his/her IMS knowledge.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Design and improve customers CS/IMS network.
- Create/update LLD, HLD, network diagrams for Core CS/IMS network elements.
- Technical support in designing customer solutions, acceptance for solutions provided by third party vendors.
- Participate actively in workgroups, network design teams, where solution business aspects are handled.
- Customers interface, answering technical requests from customers.
Required skills:
- Experience in Core CS domain.
- Technical competence on Rel4 CS Core network elements: DX MSS/TAS, IPA MGW, NT HLR.
- Experience with Core network design and optimization activities (change request analysis, HLD, LLD, troubleshooting as third line of support).
- Knowledge of following protocols SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, SIP-I, GSM/UMTS/LTE, TCP/IP.
- Degree from a technical university - master or bachelor level.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
- Any of the following would be a plus:
o IMS experience
o End-to-end knowledge on Rel4 Voice over LTE call flow and/or deployment, feature testing/verification
