• Writes clean, well designed code
• Troubleshoots, tests and maintains the software product and the databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contributes in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follows industry best practices
• At least one year of software development experience with PHP, JavaScript
• Very good understanding of AJAX
• Demonstrable proficiency in HTML, CSS
• Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and of developing web services
• Good understanding of open source projects like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, etc
• Some experience developing with common third-party APIs such as Google, Facebook, Twitter
• Desirable, but not essential, is experience in front-end development including jQuery and some knowledge of Linux
• Good levels of communication
• Ability to understand client requirements and functional specifications
• Enthusiasm and interest in all things technology and passion for best design and coding practices
