• Provide level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Take ownership of incidents and requests escalated from junior support teams
• Follow the standard procedure for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate teams
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to plan agree and deliver low risk changes
• Liaise with 3rd parties or client side IT personnel to investigate and resolve issues
• Document troubleshooting and problem resolution steps to provide guidance to junior support teams
• Participate in and deliver knowledge transfer sessions within the organization as needed to grow technical and business skills

Mandatory Experience & Skills:
• General Ethernet switching (VLANs, dot1.q, PVST, VTP, Etherchannel)
• General IP routing (subnetting, inter-VLAN, RIP)
• First hop redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP,GLBP)
• Network Services (DHCP, IP SLA, SNMP, NTP)
• IPSEC VPN basics
Security
• IOS, ASA ACL's (add, remove, replace, update ACE)
• NAT (static and dynamic, object nat)
• Good analytical thinking and information acquisition skills;
• Capable to establish relationships and maintaining contacts with people from a
variety of backgrounds
• Effective and sensitive communicator in different societies and cultures;
• Familiar with basic customer service techniques;
• Adaptable to changes and fast learner;
• Proficient in spoken and written English language.
Desired Experience & Skills:
Linux Skills
• Package installation/update (yum, aptitude, rpm)
• File manipulation (attributes, ownership, grep, awk, symlinks)
• Logging (Syslog logging, debugging)
• Basic software management (DNS, Web Servers, FTP Servers, SSHD)
• Monitoring tools (snmpwalk, snmpget/set, snmptable, snmptrap
