Development of safety-relevant application for the railway field, including:
- Design, Implementation/Coding and Unit test ( automated test cases)
- Application maintenance and bug fixing
- Documentation
- Regular progress reporting
The development will be performed in a professional environment in close co-operation with experts in Austria.
Education:
- computer science graduates ( Automatics and Computers, Informatics or Cybernetics)
Requested technical competence:
- expert in the C programming language ( including : socket programming)
- experience in development of applications in Linux environment
- very good knowledge of POSIX
- very good knowledge of synchronization and multi-threaded programming
- very good knowledge of the GNU toolchain
- knowledge of a least one scripting language ( bash, perl, python, other)
- communication protocols ( TCP/IP,UDP,X.25,HDLC,...)
Preferred technical competence:
- ClearQuest or other bug reporting tools
- SVN, Clearcase or other versioning system
- Experience with development processes
- Previous experience in network programming
- Automated tests wih Expect
- Basic knowledge in programming language Pascal
