TechTeam is looking for a candidate that will assist to the successful roll-out of the European Knowledge Management Improvement program. This program optimizes the availability of content or knowledge and guides managers to get the right process and tools in place to allow growth.
Knowledge management is based on the idea that an organization’s most valuable resource is the knowledge of its people. Therefore the extent to which an organization performs well will depend, among other things, on how effectively its people can create new knowledge, share knowledge around the organization and use that knowledge to best effect.
For the Call centre business and especially the outsourced support services TechTeam delivers to its clients, knowledge management is a key contributor to the profitability of the organization and towards increasing customer satisfaction.
- Creating knowledge strategies to guide the overall approach
- Conducting knowledge audits to identify knowledge needs, knowledge resources and knowledge flows
- Connecting people with people to share tacit knowledge using approaches such as communities of practice or learning events
- Connecting people with information to share explicit knowledge using approaches such as best practices databases, and using content management processes to ensure that explicit knowledge is current, relevant and easily accessible
- Creating opportunities for people to generate new knowledge, for example through collaborative working and learning
- Introducing processes to help people seek and use the knowledge of others such as peer assists
- Teaching people to share knowledge in ways that inspire people by using storytelling techniques
- Encouraging people to priorities learning as part of their day-to-day work, by learning before, during and after the tasks and projects they have performed
- Experience with Knowledge Management tools or Search engines. Experience in the call centre or customer support business.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Knowledge of KANA, Knova, Mini Google, or other market leaders in Knowledge Management Solutions is an asset.
- Knowledge of HTML and Internet Technologies. Any knowledge in regards to Data Base software and tools is a plus.
